Some of the latest service enhancements from Dining include the openings of Lemon Grass Kitchen in Bolton Dining Commons and Athena Mediterranean Kitchen in Market at Tate, the introduction of an app called Build Your Plate that allows you to plan out your meals in each dining commons and see nutritional information for every item available that day, and the expansion of our Bulldawg Box to-go program for those who need meals outside of the dining commons.
UGA's transit services recently launched a new 360° campus mapping system that allows you to visually plan your bus and walking routes on campus. They have also had a few bus route optimizations to better serve riders. UGA Parking is expanding their use of parking space counters throughout campus, recently adding Hull Street Deck and Legion Pool Lot to the Deck Check section of the UGA app.
The UGA Golf Course recently got a new fleet of electric golf carts that are safer, more efficient, and features a GPS system to provide you with valuable course information. They also had their 50th anniversary and have gone through a number of renovations for a better golf experience.
Vending Services has introduced Campus Market Express to widen the dining options on campus. With their self-serve technology, the location is able to continuously stay open allowing individuals in the building to purchase food anytime the building is open. On-campus residents can now recycle items more easily thanks to the 1,000 bins that were donated by UGA Vending Services in partnership with Coca-Cola, University Housing, and the Office of Sustainability.
