Higher Education Opportunity Act (HEOA) 2008
SUMMARY
The Higher Education Opportunity Act, also known as HEOA 2008, was created to give students of higher education institutions the ability to assess the total cost of enrolling in a university or college course, down to granular level of the prices and ISBN codes of required and recommended textbooks for each course. This information is expected to be available to students during the pre-registration and registration process.
For more information and to read the full act, visit the U.S. Department of Education's website.
