Associate Vice President for Auxiliary Services Brett Jackson, CPA, CASP, has received the Robert F. Newton Award for Distinguished Service from the National Association of College Auxiliary Services (NACAS), the association’s highest honor.
The Robert F. Newton Award recognizes individuals whose sustained service, leadership and commitment have made a significant and lasting contribution to the auxiliary services profession and to NACAS. The award was presented to Jackson at the 2026 C3X Annual Conference & Expo.
“Jackson’s service reflects the qualities at the heart of the Robert F. Newton Award: a willingness to give back to the profession, a commitment to supporting fellow professionals, and a dedication to making auxiliary services in higher education stronger for the future,” a NACAS announcement stated.
Jackson has worked in Auxiliary Services at the University of Georgia throughout most of her career. She began at the university in 2005 as an accountant in Parking Services, quickly taking on progressively larger roles within Auxiliary Services and UGA, including assistant to the vice president for finance and administration and chief financial officer of the UGA Foundation. She has served as associate vice president for auxiliary services since 2020.
“This honor may have been presented to an individual, but it belongs to the entire UGA Auxiliary Services team,” said Jackson. “It reflects the commitment, professionalism, innovation and care they demonstrate as they serve our campus community each day.”
Jackson is past president of the NACAS national board of directors and the NACAS South board of directors. She was named a NACAS Cornerstone of the Profession in 2025.
