About the Scholarship
What are the goals of the scholarship?
Through this scholarship, Auxiliary Services aims to help student employees cover the cost of their education and enable them to focus more time and attention on their academic and professional development.
By investing in the success of student employees, this scholarship also will enhance Auxiliary Services’ ability to recruit additional students to support vital campus services, including bus transportation and meal programs, for the student body.
Who is eligible to receive the scholarship?
All undergraduate students currently employed by an Auxiliary Services department, including Auxiliary administration, the UGA Bookstore, Dining Services, the UGA Golf Course, and Transportation & Parking Services, will be eligible to apply.
Students must maintain employment with Auxiliary Services and enrollment at UGA throughout the next academic year to receive the full award.
Candidates for the scholarship will submit an application, including two reference letters and a one-page statement explaining how the scholarship would benefit their academic endeavors.
Scholarship recipients will be selected by a committee appointed by the Associate Vice President for Auxiliary Services.
When will applications open?
Applications are expected to open in the spring of 2027 for scholarships that will be awarded in the 2027- 2028 academic year.
